student distance learning facilitator

The Duncan Campus is currently looking for a qualified individual to serve as Student Distance Learning Facilitator for up to 20 hours per week. The Student Distance Learning Facilitator will work directly with the Distance Learning Coordinator and office staff to perform a variety of tasks to ensure an optimum learning environment for all students and faculty in the Distance Learning Classrooms.

Duties include, but are not limited to, handling technical issues and supporting students and faculty/staff in the distance learning classes as well as in the computer lab. Students must be punctual, dependable and motivated to assure that all technical issues are addressed in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Appropriate candidates will be comfortable with technology, attentive to details, and carefully follow precise instructions. Applicants must demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills at all times while working with students, faculty, and staff. A Distance Learning facilitator will need to also assist department staff with other assignments as needed. The work day can include hours between 7:45 am through 9:30 pm. The position is for State funded students.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prefer candidates who have experience in working with technology or are currently working towards a degree in a technology field.

SALARY

$10.00 per hour
