C. Shane Hunt, Ph.D.
Cameron University proudly announces the selection of Dr. Shane Hunt as its next president. Dr. Hunt was chosen to become Cameron’s 18th president by The Board of Regents for the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University on March 10, 2025. Hunt currently serves as the Dean of the College of Business, Michael C. Ruettgers Professor of Marketing, and Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship and Economic Innovation at Idaho State University. He will assume the duties of president of the university on July 1.
