Cameron University’s CU Be a Therapist, a virtual information session, will present information on how a Master of Arts in Mental Health degree can lead to licensure as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) on Thursday, November 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Multi-instrumentalist, educator and producer Steve Story will join the Lawton Jazz Orchestra and the CU Jazz Ensemble for a night of country and jazz classics. Cameron University’s annual Country Jazz Fusion concert takes place on Tuesday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theatre.

Fall graduates are eligible to participate in graduation ceremonies at the end of the spring semester. The 2024 Commencement is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, at Cameron Stadium.

Cameron University will celebrate all things military during Vet Fest, a two-day event hosted by the Office of Veterans Affairs. Community members, including veterans, military service members and dependents, are invited to a variety of events scheduled for Monday, November 6, and Tuesday, November 7, at the McMahon Centennial Complex.
In partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), Cameron University has placed a Narcan vending machine at its Lawton campus. CU is the first university in Oklahoma to offer this resource, which contains Naloxone and Fentanyl test strip kits that are available to any individual at no charge. The equipment is located on the south side of the McMahon Centennial Complex.
Active members of the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and dependents are invited to Cameron University’s Military Veterans Resource Fair slated for Monday, November 6, and Tuesday, November 7. The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the first floor of the McMahon Centennial Complex. The building is located at University Drive and D Avenue. Visitor parking is available across the street.
Cameron University senior Sacred Martinez made it to the final round of the Interviewing event, held during the Bob R. Derryberry Memorial Season Opener speech tournament hosted by Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., in late September. Martinez, a biology major, is competing as a member of the CU speech and debate team for the second year.
