Autumn Dalman joins Cameron University as director of sponsored programs

Autumn Dalman has joined Cameron University as director of sponsored programs. She was previously director of the Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions Grant Program at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.

“Autumn brings in-depth experience and expertise in grant administration, project implementation, resource management and budget oversight to her role at Cameron University,” says Dr. Marge Kingsley, vice president for academic affairs. “Her understanding of federal grant regulations and management as well as her background in distance education are assets that will benefit all CU students.”

As director of sponsored programs, Dalman’s responsibilities include ensuring federal compliance for all federally funded units, including Student Support Services (TRIO), Talent Search/Upward Bound (TRIO) and the Student Enrichment Center. She will also provide oversight of distance learning, ensuring compliance of distance education programs including licensure programs and overseeing the process for quality control and distance education course work.

Additionally, she will provide support and oversight for budget, reporting and grant renewal processes as appropriate for external grants and will write or assist in the writing of new university-wide grant proposals, coordinate faculty development efforts and assist with new faculty orientation and onboarding.

Dalman earned a bachelor’s degree in American Indian Studies from USAO in 2012 and a Master of Human Relations degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2017. In 2023, she was honored with the USAO Innovation and Collaboration Award for outstanding contributions to departmental and institutional goals.
