Bill W. Burgess Jr. Business Research Center to examine real estate trends




The Bill W. Burgess Jr. Business Research Center at Cameron University will present “Real Estate Trends in Southwest Oklahoma,” a business forum that will explore movement in local market housing prices, building supplies, new home construction, economic indicators impacting real estate and financial real estate trends. The discussion will take place on Wednesday, April 23, at 11 a.m. in the Mary Lou and W. Carey Johnson Auditorium, Room 111 in Ross Hall.

“Understanding regional real estate market trends is essential for both buyers and sellers,” says Dr. Krystal Brue, chair, CU Department of Business. “As homeowners and investors navigate real estate developments, they can benefit from understanding current factors that drive the regional marketplace and subsequently make informed decisions.”

The forum will explore real estate sales, home construction, building supplies and financial lending. Sharing their expertise will be panelists Barry Ezerski, managing broker/owner, Pam & Barry’s Team, Inc.; Sam Haubrick. home inspector and builder, Hhi, Inc.; Phil Kennedy, president, Comanche Home Center; and Mark Scott, vice president/relationship manager, Arvest Bank.
