Cameron adjusts tuition for 2024-25

Cameron University has announced tuition rates for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees will increase by $6.50 per credit hour and graduate tuition and mandatory fees will increase by $7 per credit hour. Tuition rates for the online Master of Business Administration and Master of Organizational Leadership programs will also increase by $7 per credit hour.

However, at the same time, Cameron is eliminating a $10 per credit hour academic services fee it charges for distance learning.

“Although we continue to implement cost-cutting and efficiency measures wherever feasible, we are faced with the necessity of increasing tuition for the coming academic year to provide the consistently student-centered learning experiences that our students need and deserve,” says John McArthur, president. “We will also increase financial aid to Cameron students to assist them in continuing their degree studies.”

Tuition rates for 2024-2025 will be:

• Undergraduate tuition: $180.50/credit hour for Oklahoma residents; additional $314/credit hour for non-residents

• Undergraduate guaranteed tuition: $207/credit hour for Oklahoma residents

• Graduate tuition: $223/credit hour for Oklahoma residents; additional $373/credit hour for non-residents

• MBA/MSOL online tuition: $345/credit hour for Oklahoma residents; additional $105/credit hour for non-residents

• Mandatory fees: $56/credit hour (unchanged from 2022-2023)

The rates were approved this week by the Board of Regents for the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University – CU’s governing board – and will be considered for final approval on June 27 by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
