Cameron University Foundation reaches Giving Tuesday goal; Aggie Fund to benefit from year-end campaign

Giving Tuesday was a success for the Cameron University Foundation, which exceeded its $6,000 goal to benefit the Aggie Fund. The Aggie Fund is dedicated to ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve a Cameron education. Helping students succeed through the Aggie Fund also means keeping facilities up to date, providing students with immersive, hands-on opportunities in their fields, and responding to the needs of non-traditional students to aid in occupational shortages affecting the nation.

“We are so incredibly grateful for the gifts made to the Aggie Fun on Giving Tuesday,” says Tiffany Smith, Director of Development. “We have been blessed with a plethora of community supporters and alumni donors. Our success on Giving Tuesday is just the beginning. For our year-end campaign, we want to continue to generate donations to the Aggie Fund, which is a vital resource for Cameron students. Our new goal is $50,000. That’s an ambitious goal which, based on the generosity we’ve enjoyed from donors throughout the country this year, is within our reach.”

Cameron supporters who missed the Giving Tuesday window can still make donations by visiting the Cameron University website at https://www.cameron.edu/foundation/aggie-fund.

Gifts may also be mailed to Cameron University Foundation, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Lawton, OK 73505.
