On Giving Tuesday, a worldwide day of philanthropy benefitting charitable causes, the Cameron University Foundation hopes to receive gifts from 100 donors. Giving Tuesday takes place on Tuesday, December 1. All gifts received that day will be earmarked for the Cameron Aggie Response (CARE) Fund. Gifts can be made online at https://www.cameron.edu/foundation/give-now, which will direct donors to a secure, online credit card form. Gifts can also be mailed to Cameron University Foundation, Office of University Advancement, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Administration 245, Lawton, OK 73505.
“The Aggie CARE Fund, which assists students with immediate financial needs due to circumstances beyond their control, is more vital than ever in this unprecedented year of employment disruptions due to COVID-19,” says Julie Cunningham, Director of Development. “The fund allows us to alleviate unexpected financial pressures so our students can concentrate on their classes in pursuit of a college degree. Giving Tuesday presents an outstanding opportunity to add to the fund.”
