Calling all Aggie alumni and community supporters! It’s time for a new “Aggie Adventure”! Head to the Lawton campus of Cameron University for the 2020 Homecoming celebration to enjoy a multitude of opportunities to celebrate, reminisce and enjoy life! Homecoming activities geared to alumni are slated for Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22. Alumni, friends and supporters can experience a variety of Cameron homecoming traditions, including the Homecoming Tailgate Party, men’s and women’s basketball games, the annual Aggie Family Fun Run, presentation of the annual Cameron University Alumni Association Awards, the annual Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Family Fun in the Aggie Rec Center (ARC) and more. Aggie Homecoming activities kick off on Monday, February 17, with a variety of activities and events for CU students. Friday, February 21
6 -8 p.m. | Family Fun in the REC, Aggie Rec Center
Family fun is on tap at the Aggie Rec Center, so bring the kids for an evening filled with games, activities, and high fives from Ole Kim.
7:30 p.m. | Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception, McCasland Ballroom
It’s time to congratulate the 2020 inductees into the Athletics Hall of Fame! Learn about the achievements of these valued Aggie athletes during a touching induction ceremony, then mingle and “remember when” during the post-induction reception. This year’s inductees are Ray Franklin, Farron Hottel, Jerry Hrnciar, Jordi Mullor and Taryn Turner Jersvig.
7:30 p.m. | Alumni Happy Hour, Mike’s Sports Grille, 517 E. Gore
Catch up on old times with fellow Aggie alumni at one of Lawton’s most popular hotspots!
8:30 p.m. | Bonfire and Pep Rally, South of Cameron Village
What could be more fun on a crisp February night than a cup of hot cocoa, toasty s’mores and a blazing bonfire? Add some Aggie spirit and it’s something you won’t want to miss!

Jump-start homecoming with a quick morning run, a steady jog or a relaxing stroll around the Aggie Mile with family and friends.
9:30 a.m. | Aggie Family Coffee/Breakfast, McMahon Centennial Complex Lobby
Bring your appetite to the MCC, where you’ll enjoy breakfast, coffee and conversation with alumni and friends.
10 a.m. | Reunion for 1980 Men’s Basketball National Championship Team, McCasland Ballroom
Where were you in 1980? Celebrating the Aggie men’s basketball national championship, no doubt! Aggie supporters of all ages are invited to join members of the team as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of their championship season during this special reunion! 12:30 p.m. | Tailgate Party, Lawn between Burch Hall and Aggie Gym
Join us for a family-friendly cookout and tailgate party as we prepare to cheer on the Aggies. You’ll find outdoor games and activities for all ages, live music, and more!
2 p.m. and 4 p.m. | Aggie Basketball vs University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, Aggie Gym
The men’s and women’s basketball teams will be buoyed by alumni support as they face a conference foe! Homecoming royalty will be announced at halftime of the men’s game, and the Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized during halftime of the women’s game.
7 p.m. | CUAA Awards Dinner, McCasland Ballroom, McMahon Centennial Complex ($25 per person; February 17 reservation deadline)
Celebrate with the recipients of the Cameron University 2020 Alumni Association Awards, honoring Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni, Faculty Hall of Fame, and Outstanding Aggies of Tomorrow. The ceremony will also feature the inaugural performance of the Legacy Choir.
