Cameron University Homecoming 2025 to feature activities for alumni and community members




Cameron University’s Homecoming 2025 festivities are just around the corner, giving Aggie alumni and community supporters ample opportunities to head to the Lawton campus to celebrate, reminisce and make new Aggie memories! Homecoming activities geared to alumni and community members kick off on Thursday, February 20, and continued through Sunday, February 23.

Alumni, friends and supporters can experience a variety of Cameron homecoming traditions, including alumni reunions, the annual Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony and presentation of the Cameron University Alumni Association Awards. Sports fans will enjoy a full slate of softball, baseball and basketball games.

Activities geared toward CU alumni and supporters are as follows:

Thursday, February 20

5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. | Aggie Basketball vs Western New Mexico, Aggie Gym

The women’s and men’s basketball teams kick off the sports action with games against perennial foe Western New Mexico.

Friday, February 21

Noon and 2 p.m. | Aggie Softball vs West Texas A&M, McMahon Field

Fast pitches, great fielding and rounding the bases are on tap as the Aggies hit McMahon Field for a softball doubleheader.

1 p.m. | Aggie Baseball vs West Texas A&M, McCord Field

Aggie baseball also faces West Texas A&M for a doubleheader at McCord Field.

6 p.m. | Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Reception, McCasland Foundation Ballroom

The AHOF Class of 2025 includes former standout athletes Kelsi (Bond) Musick, Pat Hartline and Carrie (Harvey) Martin, as well as former volleyball coach and athletic administrator Kim Vinson, longtime Aggie Athletics supporters Dennis and Erika Moore, and the 1987 NAIA National Champion Football Team. Saturday, February 22

8:30 a.m. | Alumni Breakfast, Wichita Room, Shepler Center

11 a.m. | Class Reunions: Class of 1975 and Class of 2000, Todd and Cindy Sanner Alumni Center (formerly Cameron Exchange)

The classes of 1975 and 2000 will gather to make some new Aggie memories! Attendees will be recognized with a CU medallion commemorating their tenure as a CU Aggie. Register online at https://www.cameron.edu/homecoming/alumni.

1 p.m. and 3 p.m. | Aggie Basketball vs Sul Ross State University, Aggie Gym

Show your support for the Aggie men’s and women’s basketball teams as they face a conference foe! The Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized during halftime of the women’s game.

1 p.m. and 4 p.m. | Aggie Baseball vs West Texas A&M, McCord Field

Listen for the crack of bats and runners tagging the bases as the Aggies continue their rivalry with West Texas A&M in a doubleheader.

6:30 p.m. | CUAA Awards Banquet, McCasland Foundation Ballroom, McMahon Centennial Complex

The Cameron University Alumni Association presents its annual awards, honoring Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni and Faculty Hall of Fame.

Sunday, February 23

1 p.m. | Aggie Baseball vs West Texas A&M, McCord Field

The final Homecoming showdown against West Texas A&M sends the Aggie baseball team back to McCord Field.

1 p.m. and 3 p.m. | Aggie Softball vs Midwestern State University, McMahon Field

It’s a softball doubleheader at McMahon Field as the Aggies face another conference rival.
