Individuals and businesses who want to make a positive impact in the lives of area college students are encouraged to make a gift to the Cameron University Foundation on Giving Tuesday, a national day of charitable support. Giving Tuesday, which rallies people around the world to tap into the power of human connection and strengthen communities, takes place on Tuesday, December 3. All gifts received that day will be earmarked for the Aggie Fund, which provides students with scholarships, provides faculty support and helps to enhance campus facilities to provide better learning opportunities.
Gifts can be made online at https://www.cameron.edu/foundation, where the “Give Now” link will direct donors to a secure, online credit card form. Gifts can also be mailed to Cameron University Foundation, Office of University Advancement, 2800 W. Gore Blvd., Administration 245, Lawton, OK 73505.
“The Cameron University Foundation is excited to participate in Giving Tuesday for the eighth consecutive year,” says Julie Cunningham, Director of Alumni and Development. “Giving Tuesday marks the start of the season of giving and focuses on creating a culture of philanthropy, gratitude and giving back. I hope you will join us Tuesday, December 3, in kicking off the season of giving with the gift of opportunity.”
