Graduation fairs scheduled for Cameron University Class of 2025

Members of the Cameron University Class of 2025 have the ability to fulfill their Commencement needs at one of the university’s upcoming graduation fairs, where they will be able to coordinate a variety of activities and services in one setting. The graduation fair at CU-Duncan is slated for Tuesday, March 11, in the Learning Resource Center and will run from 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. The Lawton event will take place on Wednesday, March 12, from 8:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the McCasland Foundation Ballroom, located in the McMahon Centennial Complex.

The first – and perhaps most important step – is completion of the application for graduation, which is required before a degree can be conferred. Representatives from the Office of the Registrar will be on hand to guide students through that simple, online process. Graduates-to-be can also purchase caps and gowns, explore graduate school options, discuss student loan obligations and learn about job searches.

At the Lawton campus, this year’s graduates will have the opportunity to have a senior portrait – complete with cap and gown – taken by a professional photographer, so students should be “photo ready.” There is no fee to sit for a portrait; students will only pay for either digital or print versions, should they wish. Also at Lawton, students will be able to order graduation announcements.

Representatives from the Cameron University Alumni Association, Student Enrichment Center, Office of Admissions, CU Printing Services, Office of Financial Assistance and the CU Bookstore will be available at the Lawton Graduation Fair to guide graduation candidates through the process. Most will also be on-site at the Duncan Graduation Fair. Students unable to participate in the in-person event may still access graduation services by contacting each office individually.

Commencement 2025 is slated for Friday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Cameron Stadium. Students who completed degree requirements in December 2024 or who will complete requirements in May, July or December 2025 are eligible to participate in the ceremony.
