The Embedded Certificate in Coaching and Teaching is a 15-credit hour program designed to educate and prepare students seeking to become athletic coaches. The curriculum covers first aid, care and prevention of athletic injuries, leadership and coaching, media and technology in education, and methods of management of teaching, allowing students to meet state, professional, and ethical standards required for coaching. Students who earn this certificate will have an advantage in pursuing employment in schools throughout the state of Oklahoma. The certificate can be completed in traditional and/or online formats.
