Repeat and Non-Required Courses
- VA will only pay for courses required to meet the university's minimum graduation requirements.
- The CU-VA will make a reasonable attempt, via phone and/or email, to contact students who are taking a non-required class, even if the student is considered to be full-time without it. Chapter 31 (DAV) students will need to contact their case manager. If the case manager does not approve a course that is non-required, the student will be held responsible for the tuition and book costs associated with the non-required course .
- VA will not pay to repeat any courses that were completed successfully . Letter grades of A, B, C, D are passing. Students will not be paid to repeat a course successfully passed for academic forgiveness or reprieve purposes! Exceptions: Some courses require a specific minimum grade. Check the University Catalog course description.
