Engineering Bridge Day July 29 and 30, 2026!
The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Engineering at Cameron University would like to host up to 20 high school students for a bridge day. We aim to have a two day bridge building competition where students learn how to design a bridge using CAD tools in our engineering computer lab in the Sciences Complex. Participating students will then return the following day to test their designs that have been 3D printed in our new McMahon Engineering Lab Complex.
Participating students will get the latest updates about the new 4-year Mechanical Engineering Program starting this fall as well as additional engineering lab activities. The program will run July 29 and 30 from 9am to 4pm. Lunch will be provided both days. Participating students will need their own transportation to and from campus both days. There is no cost to participating. Selected students will be notified by email of their selection. To RSVP and apply use the link below.
