ELIGIBILITY to use the aggie rec center
1.0 General
1.1 All patrons must scan into the system in order to use the facility.
1.2 Aggie Rec Center staff has the right to suspend eligibility of the facility if patrons violate any policy and rules for the facility.
1.3 Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the weight and cardio areas.
2.0 Students
2.1 A person who is currently enrolled in at least one undergraduate or graduate level class is eligible for facility use.
2.2 During summer term, the following students are eligible for facility use:
- Enrolled in at least one undergraduate or graduate level class.
- Enrolled in subsequent fall term.
- Cameron Village residents who have a valid 12-month housing contract.
3.0 Faculty and Staff
3.1 Full-time employees of Cameron University, their spouse and any dependent children under the age of 18 may have access to the facility.
3.2 Part-time employees of Cameron University have full access to the facility.
3.2.1 Spouses and dependent children under the age of 18 of part-time employees may use the facility for a fee of $30 per regular academic term and $15 per summer term.
3.3 Adjunct faculty of Cameron University has access only for the term they are employed.
3.3.1 Spouses and dependent children under the age of 18 of adjunct faculty may use the facility for a fee of $30 per regular academic term and $15 per summer term.
3.4 Contractor employees of Cameron University (Sodexho, Follett, Military Science, etc…) have full access to the facility.
3.4.1 Spouses and dependent children under the age of 18 of contractors may use the facility for a fee of $30 per regular academic term and $15 per summer term.
5.0 Alumni
5.1 Alumni of Cameron University are eligible for facility use by purchasing a membership through the Alumni Office.
5.2 Alumni must purchase a Rec Center Membership of $20 per person per month through the Alumni Office.
5.3 Alumni members must obtain a Cameron University ID card from Student Accounts after purchasing the membership through the Alumni Office.
3.3.1 The first ID card is included in the cost of membership, but subsequent ID cards are the responsibility of the patron.
**All patrons of the Aggie Rec Center must have a current, valid Cameron University ID card. To obtain an ID card for employee family members, contact Sarah Frederick at 580-581-2228 or via email.
Children/Family at the Aggie Rec Center
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a Cameron employee who at all times must remain in the Rec Center with the child. Each Cameron University employee is responsible for the action of any family member at the Rec Center and will be held liable for any damages caused by a family member.
