The Magic Lantern Film Society
The Magic Lantern Film Society, a student organization, was started in the Spring of 1982 with Cameron History Professor Mark Stegmaier, and English/Foreign Language Professor Marilyn Beaney serving as the first faculty advisors. The Magic Lantern Film Society is in its 41st season at CU. The first season featured two16 mm films but now uses DVDs. Presentations are free though donations are gratefully accepted.
