Associate in Applied Science in Engineering
The current industry in Oklahoma states that we are not graduating enough engineers to fill the job openings in the field of engineering. The Engineering program at Cameron University provides five disciplinary options: Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Civil, and Industrial. Students in this program have the opportunity to work in teams, design and build projects in each engineering science course, participate in competitive internships and network with the local engineering industry regularly. Graduates of this program can matriculate to a 4-year program in the state of Oklahoma in their specific discipline seamlessly.

AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR ENGINEERING MAJORS!
Cameron University and the University of Oklahoma have announced a transfer pathway for Mechanical Engineering majors starting in the fall of 2023. The universities agreed on a 3+1 plan where students complete three years at Cameron and one year at the University of Oklahoma to complete a baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering. While completing the coursework for the 3+1, students will also earn their Associates of Applied Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from Cameron University.
